On the reaction he expects from his players and his conclusions after the Krasnodar match:

«I am satisfied in general. In my opinion, it was a positive performance. It´s not easy to face Krasnodar as they are a quality side with very good players. We defended well throughout the game and were somewhat lively upfront but lacked finishing«.

On the balance between creating a new side and getting good results:

«There is no issue of adjustment of the players to the team. Some need more time, but not all of them are newcomers. There are old and new players, we are working with a mixture but that is no problem. We try everything in each game, sometimes we win, sometimes not. It is very important to follow the rules. We are well organized. Results depend also on the rival, but also on our quality. It´s important however to see the players bring to the pitch things we have worked on during trainings«.

On whether negative results can have positive repercussions to the team and its character:

«I am not sure that pressure can help. Some players work better under pressure, some don´t. I have already talked about this. We are PAOK and we must always win. We are professionals and always give it our best. I believe that we are doing a fine job. Of course we need some points. We take it one game at a time. On Sunday we face Panathinaikos and we will be ready«.

On Sunday’s game and his countrymen Mladen Petrić and Danijel Pranjić coming as rivals to Toumba:

«Two very good players and excellent characters. I know them very well, but on Sunday we are opponents, football rivals. On Sunday we aim to win a very strong opponent. I am 100% confident that we will put a very good performance«.
