KIF Örebro were too much for PAOK women’s team, who lost 3-0 at Toumba, a result leaving them with slim to none chances of qualifying. The “Double-Headed Eagle” were good in the first half and withstood their rivals’ pressure. But the Swedish players made their superiority count in the second half. They took the lead in the 47th minute and made it 2-0 from the spot after 70 minutes of play. One minute from time they added a third. The second leg will be held next week in Sweden. Despite the heavy defeat, PAOK fans turned up in numbers to support the players.
