Vote for Best Goal of August

First candidate for the Best Goal accolade is Dimitris Konstantinidis who is aiming for a double distinction, as he is also competing for MVP of August. He scored a headed equalizer at Spartak Trnava, moving as central forward and making the most of Nikos Korovesis’s cross. It was his maiden goal for PAOK.
The next two candidate goals were netted in the Toumba match against Brøndby IF. Both saw Róbert Mak get involved. On the first occasion, he evaded his opponents at the heart of the Danish defence with an excellent control following Konstantinidis’s pass and shot past the rival goalkeeper.
Afterwards, the Slovakian chased stubbornly after a lost ball, stole it from his opponent and passed it to Dimitris Pelkas who produced a stunning goal of rare beauty. His lobbed goal sent fans into rapture and the young scorer celebrated it accordingly.
