Even harder work
The schedule is heavy and no positive or negative results can stop the team’s effort to improve through hard work at trainings.
Igor Tudor treated his players to yet another very strong training session, at least for those who didn’t feature in Sunday’s encounter.
The ones who played against SKODA Xanthi went through recuperation work, with light drills on the pitch and gym and physiotherapy.
Cimirot deprived of luck
Gojko Cimirot’s debut for PAOK was far from a dream one, as he limped out of the encounter. The Bosnian player –whose call to international duty was revoked after his injury- was submitted to medical tests on Monday revealing a rather big strain in the groins. He is expected to return to action after 6-8 weeks. When the swelling subsides and reveals a tendon injury, his absence might be stretched to two more weeks.
Stefanos Athanasiadis returned to normal training, while Charis Charisis is also in the final stage of his recuperation.
Without Salpingidis and Maduro
Dimitris Salpingidis and Hedwiges Maduro didn’t participate in training after being granted a leave of absence.
Tuesday’s training session will start at 18.30 at the training centre of PAOK at Nea Mesimvria.
