Good news regarding Pelkas
PAOK have a full schedule of Super League and European encounters until the international break.
Igor Tudor and his assistants are called to manage the roster under the burden of suspensions and injuries, while also trying to prepare them for the SKODA Xanthi encounter.
There were two groups in Friday’s training session. The first group consisted by those who started the Brøndby IF game and did recuperation work and physical condition drills.
The second group consisted of those who didn’t play and those who featured in the game as subs. They were treated to tactical work, especially in ball passing when in organised attack.
Dimitris Pelkas was absent from training as he had an MRI that showed he didn’t suffer a serious injury. The young Greek player sustained a first degree strain in the ischiotibial muscles and is expected to be absent from trainings for 8-10 days.
Stefanos Athanasiadis remained in the gym for physiotherapy, as well as Dimitris Salpingidis who complains of abdomen pains. Stelios Pozoglou and Charis Charisis continued their respective recovery programs.
