For three summers in a row, he would see his name appear in transfer sagas, but he chose to remain at PAS Giannina, collect valuable experience and prepare himself for the actual transfer that brought him to Toumba Stadium.

Pacy, technically gifted, able to cover the whole left flank and advance to the rival box and finish plays, Korovesis started his career at Panegialios. He then continued at third-tier Apollon Smyrni, before moving to PAS Giannina where he conjured up 13 goals in 84 appearances in the Super League.

He made his official debut with the black-and-white shirt in Slovakia against FC Spartak Trnava for the UEFA Europa League 3rd qualifying round. His display was amazing, including the pin-point cross for the goal of Konstantinidis.
