Happy birthday Ergys!

PAOK FC and the whole black-and-white family wish all the best to Ergys Kace who celebrates his 22nd birthday!

08.07.2015

Ergys Kace was born on 8 July 1993 in Korytsa, Albania, and came to Greece three years later. He started playing football at Achilleas Triandria and joined the PAOK academies at the age of 12 (in 2005).

He signed his first professional contract with PAOK in December 2010 and made his senior debut a few days later, in an encounter against Panserraikos. He was shipped on loan to Anagennisi Epanomi in the summer of 2011 and enjoyed a full season at the 2nd tier, before returning to the “Double-Headed Eagle” to get more opportunities.

Not only did he get more opportunities upon his return, but ended up being a regular and indispensable member of the team and signing an extension of his contract. He went on to record 42 appearances in all competitions (1 goal) and making his senior debut for the Albania national squad.

His impressive displays continued in 2013-14 as he established himself in PAOK’s midfield. A never tiring midfielder with great stamina, he can help in the defense and attack.

In the season that just concluded, Kace was a vital cog of the team, contributing in all aspects of the game. His displays won him the “Platon Foropoulos” MVP of the season award, as voted by fans.
