Two “finals” left
One week and two matches left for the season to come to an end. These “finals” will determine how next season will kick off. Disappointment for the defeat and poor display at Leoforos is unavoidable, however PAOK need to seal their season with victories and time is of the essence.
Giorgos Georgiadis and his troops must shake off the pressure and disappointment and get ready for the encounter against Atromitos on Wednesday 3 June. Monday’s training session was held in two groups. Those who played against Panathinaikos did recuperation work.
The rest engaged in possession drills and reduced-space games. Stefanos Athanasiadis and Róbert Mak, both suffering of back pains, followed part of the session and are working against time to be available for the next match.
Giorgos Tzavellas, Dimitris Konstantinidis and Kyriakos Savvidis all picked up minor injuries in the Leoforos game. They did physiotherapy in the gym and are expected to be available for the Atromitos match.
