Skondras and Raț included in league best 11
A player goes down in history for the collective trophies he has helped win. Individual awards however, especially when voted by the fans, boost the player with self-confidence, provide them with motivation to keep fighting and vindicate their efforts.
Răzvan Raț and Giannis Skondras were included in the Super League’s best 11, in the poll organized by Novasports for the 2014-15 season. After collecting their awards, the two players of PAOK spoke on camera. Here is what they said:
Skondras:
«All players strive to establish themselves in their clubs and such awards vindicate their effort. I would like to thank those who voted for me. I believe that we did well as a team. It’s important to establish oneself through team work. Thank you for the honour. I promise I will work hard to help my team to pleasant moments in upcoming years».
Raț:
«Such awards are motivation for the players to achieve more –one doesn’t get tired of them. Receiving these individual awards is fulfilling. I personally get motivated ahead of the upcoming season to go after more individual awards and do the best for my team».
