Little PAOK fan
The first illustrated tale regarding football for all little and big fans of PAOK will be presented at PAOK City Store 1926 (Agias Sofias 31 & Ermou) on Friday 22 May at 19.30.
PAOK’s diminutive friends are in for a treat. The first illustrated tale regarding football -and especially PAOK- will be unveiled on Friday 22 May at 19.30, in the club’s official store in the centre of Thessaloniki (Agias Sofias 31 & Ermou).
The tale refers to the team’s journey from their first days as a refugee club all the way to distinction and their maiden league title in 1976, navigating through hardships and obstacles.
This journey resembles a lot to a tale anyway. The book illustrates the long, hard and successful effort of PAOK to progress, establish themselves and become champions –all that through the eyes of a child.
Theatrologist Stella Mamakouka will do a live presentation of the book that has been written and published by journalist Triantafyllos Petkanopoulos.
In the final pages of the book, PAOK’s stars of the ‘70s such as Giorgos Koudas, Stavros Sarafis, Koulis Apostolidis and Νeto Guerino speak about important goals and highlights of PAOK’s history that unfolds in the tale.
Several of those stars will attend Friday’s event to share their memories, answer questions of PAOK’s little fans and sign the book.
We expect you all at PAOK City Store 1926!
