Against the wind…
After enjoying a day off, PAOK players returned to training on Wednesday, focusing on Sunday’s encounter against Levadiakos.
Giorgos Georgiadis and his players trained at Nea Mesimvria on Wednesday afternoon, but high winds obstructed their movements and constantly changed the trajectory of the ball.
In the first part of the session, players engaged in aerobic adjustments and stability drills under the guidance of physical condition trainer Dimitris Daniilidis. Afterwards it was all about tactics, with exercises and games against four goals.
Only Dimitris Salpingidis is still on the medical report of PAOK, the Greek forward following a special rehabilitation program following his left foot surgery. Răzvan Raț and Dimitris Papadopoulos return to action in the game against Levadiakos having served their suspension, but Georgiadis cannot count on Miguel Vítor and Stefanos Athanasiadis, also suspended.
PAOK players will train at Nea Mesimvria on Thursday, their session kicking off at 12.00.
