Kace: «We will make it»
After collecting his Best Goal award for matchday 31, Ergys Kace spoke to media representatives in the mixed zone of Toumba Stadium.
Here is what the Albanian midfielder of the “Double-Headed Eagle” had to say:
Whether he will step up to take all direct free kicks:
“Probably yes. I will be training better from now on and make it a point to take more direct free kicks. I must admit that goals from direct free kicks are harder than standard goals and I enjoy taking them”.
Regarding his effort to constantly improve various aspects of his game:
“I try to improve my weak points. I believe that I am improving, as I am still young and I have a lot to learn game by game”.
Regarding the encounter against PAS Giannina:
“PAS have a good team, but are members of PAOK. We must win in order to enter the play-offs on a high morale. That is our goal and we want to win”.
About the play-offs:
“Our effort is to win the play-off procedure in order to secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers. If we win all home matches and edge one away victory, then we will make it”.
Whether and how players get affected by developments in Greek football:
“Nothing has been decided yet. We are working for today, for our upcoming game. We are footballers and we must win”.
Regarding the fans’ absence from the stands:
“Recently we made a new start in order to achieve our goal in the play-offs. I believe that, if we keep performing well, we will bring our fans back to the stadium”.
