Thursday’s training session was held at Nea Mesimvria. Róbert Mak retuned to PAOK following his international engagement with Slovakia and followed a recuperation session. Christian Noboa was the only absentee and he is expected at Thessaloniki on Friday.

Training started with the usual warm-up, consisting of running and explosiveness drills.

The session mostly focused on defensive tactics, defensive transition and pressing and it concluded with a training match of specific tactical restrictions.

Răzvan Raț trained apart from his teammates in high intensity, while Ricardo Costa and Hedwiges Maduro did strengthening drills and physical condition exercises.

Friday’s training session will start at 12.00 at Nea Mesimvria.
