Upon the completion of his collaboration with PAOK, Angelos Anastasiadis made the following statement: “I wish to thank everyone who collaborated with me during my spell at PAOK. The caretakers, the employees working for the team, the physiotherapists, the members of the coaching and medical team and, of course, the fans of the club”.

I wish good luck to Mr. Giorgos Georgiadis and I hope that PAOK will be victorious from now on. I believe we can achieve our aims and I will be the first to rejoice, with all my heart.

I also wish to thank most ardently the footballers for their cooperation. I need to stress that they bear the least amount of responsibility for the present situation and that I never implied anything amiss about their role and behaviour.

Recent publications of dialogues about who is in command did not apply to the team –as falsely presented-, but to the organization of a team banquet and nothing more.

Last but not least, I would like to thank the club’s President Mr. Ivan Savvidis, his family members and his relatives. I will pray to God for their well-being”.
