It was a beautiful goal both in its build-up and execution. Giannis Skondras charged down the flank and passed the ball towards the penalty spot with his left (!) foot for the incoming Christian Noboa, whose volley left no alternative to Veria’s goalkeeper but to collect the ball from the back of his net. This goal earned the Ecuadorian midfielder the “Best Goal of February” award, as designated through your vote.

Noboa’s effort got an impressive 76% of the vote, leaving the strikes of Miguel Vítor (13%) and Facundo Pereyra (8%) in second and third place respectively. Let us remind you that the same goal had earned Noboa the award for Best Goal of matchday 25, in the contest organized by Super League, PSAP and Novasports.
