PAOK players held their Monday training session at Toumba, under the guidance of Giorgos Georgiadis and his assistants. The new coach was presented to the squad by Iakovos Angelidis and, following a brief speech about the team’s objectives until the end of the season, players got to work, as time is of the essence.
The new coaching staff consists of Dimitris Daniilidis (physical condition trainer), Dimitris Mousiaris (goalkeeping coach), Giannis Vlachos (rivals’ analysis) and Kyriakos Tsitiridis (Vis Track analysis). The new assistant coach will be announced shortly.
In his first training session, Georgiadis worked on ball circulation with drills on possession in tight spaces and under pressure from opponents. Session concluded with a reduced-pitch training match.
Those who played against Asteras Tripolis followed a special program of lower intensity. Fanis Tzandaris continued his recovery routine while Hedwiges Maduro did physiotherapy and muscular strengthening drills.
Tuesday’s training session will start at 17.00 at Toumba Stadium and, after Giorgos Georgiadis picks his squad for the Ergotelis match, they will go to Makedonia Palace hotel where they will spend the night.
