PAOK have shifted their attention to the encounter against Ergotelis. Angelos Anastasiadis and his troops resumed trainings after Clean Monday’s day off, with a double session on Tuesday at Nea Mesimvria.
In the morning, players did jogging and series of physical condition drills in the gym. In the afternoon, they focused on football. After the usual warm-up and the 5-2 exercise, they did combination drills working ball circulation, defensive function with pressure on half of the pitch and deployment against organized defence.
Nikos Spyropoulos is training normally alongside his teammates, as his breach of discipline has been handled internally and the matter is considered closed. Nikos Vasaitis, Giorgos Kakko and Giannis Tsolakidis of U20s participated in the afternoon training session.
Dimitris Salpingidis followed full training, Panagiotis Glykos started jogging, while Fanis Tzandaris and Dimitris Papadopoulos worked apart, going through physical condition drills.
Ergys Kace and Eyal Golasa had a recuperation session as a precaution, because they complained of back and groin pains respectively. Αlexandros Tziolis remained in the gym for physiotherapy.
Wednesday’s training session will start at 11.30 at Nea Mesimvria.
