PAOK wrapped up preparations for their away encounter against Veria. Their last training session was held on Friday in Toumba Stadium. After their usual warm-up and 5-2 drills, they focused on tactics with a training match.

After training, Alexandros Tziolis felt his leg heavy in the groin area, however Angelos Anastasiadis included him in the squad for the Veria match. His participation will be decided after a late try out.

Dimitris Salpingidis has been ruled out due to his foot injury. Also sidelined are Panagiotis Glykos (he is going through physiotherapy for his bruised knee), Dimitris Papadopoulos (strain), Fanis Tzandaris, Hedwiges Maduro and the suspended Răzvan Raț and Stefanos Athanasiadis.
