Giannis Skondras appeared on Novasports TV to talk about the encounter against Panionios at Toumba Stadium, corresponding to matchday 17 of Super League. The defender of PAOK spoke about the year that ended, the much-needed rest and the upcoming rival of PAOK. Here is what he had to say:

About 2014:

“I believe the team is good condition, we have earned a good amount of points, however we could have gotten more. We didn’t make it, but that’s OK. We look ahead. We are at the top of the standings and we must prepare accordingly for the upcoming matches. There is a tough month ahead and we need to be at the top of our game”.

About the break:

“It was imperative for the team to rest physically and mentally. I believe that we all rested. We lead the standings and we must remain at the top. Starting with the encounter against Panionios, we need to give it all and win”.

About the encounter against Panionios:

“We have watched their games and we know that we must be careful, otherwise we will face problems. I believe that our quality will eventually prevail if we are careful. We all rested and we are prepared for the Panionios game. I hope and wish that we will win the league”.
