PAOK players got to rest after their back-to-back matches in the end of the season, but their Christmas break is over. The “Double-Headed Eagle” are gearing up for the second and even tougher part of the season. Angelos Anastasiadis and his collaborators welcomed the players back at Toumba Stadium on Saturday, for the first training session ahead of the league encounter against Panionios, to be held on 3 January 2015.

Răzvan Raț, Miguel Vítor and Giannis Skondras had taken a leave of absence from their coach and were not at Toumba. The remaining players were all there and did jogging and physical condition drills.

Regarding the medical report, Róbert Mak and Giorgos Katsikas ran alongside their teammates and are expected to engage in ball exercises in upcoming days. Alexandros Tziolis remained in the gym for physiotherapy, complaining of groin pains. Panagiotis Glykos was there as well, continuing his recovery program following his 2nd degree strain in the groin, an injury he suffered during the match against PAS Giannina.Panagiotis Deligiannidis did recovery work as well.
