PAOK U20s showed the way to their seniors on Sunday morning, as they comfortably dismissed AO Kerkyra at Nea Mesimvria. They prevailed 3-0 in a match of high tempo and several goalscoring chances.

Vladan Ivić made several changes to his starting line-up and they paid off. PAOK produced attractive, attacking football and carved out quite a few chances to score, eventually netting three goals and maintaining their good home record. The “Double-Headed Eagle” hit the ground running from minute one and had already missed three glorious opportunities –including a shot on woodwork- to score in the first 20 minutes through Kakko and Kusta. In the 21st minute they got their reward through Κtistopoulos who netted the opener. Kusta doubled PAOK’s lead in the 37th minute, making it very difficult for AO Kerkyra to turn the tide around.

The “Double-Headed Eagle” handled their lead perfectly after the interval and wrapped up victory with their third goal in the 83rd minute, a header by Kusta connecting Kakko’s corner kick.

PAOK now have 23 points in 11 matches and look well on their way, after their tentative start to the league.

PAOK U20: Soilemezoglou, Topalidis, Anastasiou, Tselepidis, Tsiampazis, Toumanidis (73′ Chatzidimpas), Panagiotidis, Ktistopoulos, Tsolakidis (61′ Pouflis), Kakko (87′ Siampanis), Kusta
