Mattias Gestranius from Finland will take charge of Thursday’s UEFA Europa League match between PAOK and Dinamo Minsk at Toumba Stadium. It’s his 3rd European match this season. The 36-year old technician handled the UEL 3rd qualifying round tie St Johnstone-Spartak Trnava (1-2) and the UEL play-off encounter Legia Warsaw – Aktobe (2-0). This will be the first match at a group stage level for one of Finland’s most experienced referees, as he has already officiated at 101 games. In his 33 European competitions’ encounters, he has awarded 10 penalties, dismissed 10 players and shown the yellow card 147 times.

He will be accompanied by Matti Heininen and Mikko Alakare, the assistant referees, with Jukka Honkanen acting as fourth official. Antti Munukka and Dennis Antamo complete the team as additional assistant referees.

Vasyl Melnychuk from Ukraine will be the UEFA Referee Delegate.
