PAOK and the 100.000 movement
PAOK FC will participate in Football People action weeks of Fare network, supporting their social campaign focused on football, with the participation of more than 100.000 people worldwide.
The Football People action weeks are a pan-European campaign that brings together professional football and the grassroots movement for a two-week period in which thousands of football and anti-discrimination related activities take place.
From 5 to 19 October, PAOK FC will join forces with thousands of civilians and amateur athletes, in order to convey and spread out this important message through social media. Because football should unite people, not divide them.
FARE network executive director Piara Powar said:
“Football People action weeks are a very important period for European football, as it unites everyone watching games, playing them and working in this field. This initiative supports social integration, celebrates differences and stands against any kind of discrimination.
We are very happy that PAOK FC have joined this campaign and I am confident that this gesture will have a positive effect on professional football”.
In 2016, more than 2.000 activities were organized in Europe and more than 100.000 people participated in them.
