Stelios Malezas returns to PAOK

PAOK FC announced the signing of Stelios Malezas from Panetolikos. The 30-year old central defender signed a two-year deal that brings him back at Toumba after three years of absence.

Stelios Malezas made his PAOK debut on 16 January 2006 in a home encounter against SKODA Xanthi, after a loan spell at Irodotos.

Gradually he established himself at PAOK’s starting line-up and made it to the Greece national team and was included in the squad lists for the finals of 2010 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2012.

In the summer of 2012, Malezas moved to German club Fortuna Düsseldorf and stayed there for two seasons. Last summer, the Greek centre back returned to the Super League for Panetolikos and now he is back at PAOK.
