Squad announced for clash against Panathinaikos
PAOK need to extend their winning streak in order to remain second in the standings and distance themselves from their Sunday rivals.
The “Double-Headed Eagle” come up against Panathinaikos who boast three consecutive victories in their games against Olympiacos, AEK Athens and Panionios and have climbed to third place of the standings. This is the first of three matches between the two sides, as they have also been drawn together in the Greek Cup semi-finals.
The Cup competition can wait though, as Super League takes centre stage on Sunday. PAOK wrapped up their mini preparation on Saturday, with training held in Toumba Stadium. They focused on tactics and then practiced also their set pieces, both in defence and attack.
After the session, Vladan Ivić announced his 20-man list for the match against Panathinaikos. It consists of: Glykos, Brkić, Leovac, Matos, Kitsiou, Crespo, Malezas, Pouggouras, Varela, Cañas, Cimirot, Shakhov, Kaçe, Warda, Biseswar, Pelkas , Campos, Henrique, Koulouris, Αthanasiadis.
